A STRIPE AFFAIR

I don't even want to think how long it's been since my last post! Surely I should have some great excuse or some amazing story for my lack of posts, but sadly I don't. I have just had the worst months of my life, but I'm not going to get into that. I will however talk about this outfit I wore on Sunday.

For this look, I wanted to make this stripped dress a little more appropriate for the day time, so I added this safari style jacket and a more casual bag to achieve the look I wanted.

POUFY SKIRT AND HOUNDSTOOTH

 I know I'm about 16 years late but I have finally jumped on the Sex and the City bandwagon. I can finally see what the buzz is about!  I might have a bit of an obsession.  My favorite character has to be Samantha, I love how confident she is; it’s very refreshing. However, this outfit is totally inspired by Carrie. Although I don't think I could wear half the stuff she does, the big poufy skirts I could get used to. Also, who doesn't love a good Manolo Blanik, not that I have any of those!

GRAFFITI WALL

Happy Monday everyone! I've had this pictures for quite a while now and I didn't really like them at the time, but I think I had a change of heart. Besides, I really love this outfit! At first I debated whether or not to wear this skirt with the matching top but I think it turned out fine, I just wish the photo's had too!

(P.S. To my fellow bloggers out there, How do you manage to take pictures when in front of people passing by? I get so embarrassed. )

Hello everyone, hope you guys had a wonderful weekend! Today I decided to wear a look that was both girly and sporty, comfortable yet stylish so I opted for this gorgeous sweater from Rosegal. RED COAT

 One of my favorite parts of getting ready in the morning is dressing up. I like to waste the shortest amount of time possible on hair and makeup so that I can focus on the part I enjoy the most, choosing my look for the day!  I usually step inside my closet and stare at my clothing for the longest time until I find a piece that I really want to wear, then I find the final pieces that will compliment it. Today that piece was my red coat, which I love wearing. What is your routine when choosing an outfit?

MY PURPLE PANTS AND I

It wasn't until I had my camera ready to go that I realized I was wearing my purple pants again. I feel like I've posted so many looks with this pants but I love them like no other pair. Do you guys have a clothing item that you love so much that you wear it over and over again. I hope it's not something that makes quite the statement as a pair of purple pants, it would be better if it was something less conspicuous! :)

WEARING NEUTRALS

Back when I used to live in the United States winter meant snow and really cold days but now that I live in Mexico it is always hot. So, when the weather gets a little bit cold I love putting on a big coat and a pair of tights and boots, now if only there was some snow then I would be completely happy!

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

It's tradition in my family to celebrate Christmas on the 24th of December so to me this is the big day. We all have a big family dinner and we open our presents at midnight. I usually don't do anything on the 25th but watch the Doctor Who Christmas special and check out all of the presents I got! :)  What are your Christmas traditions?

AZTEC CARDIGAN

 I've had this Aztec Cardigan for a while now and this is the first time I wear it since I had no idea how to wear such a big piece. This morning the weather was a bit chilly so I thought I would give it a chance and pair it with a belt. Not completely sure if I like the look now that I look at it but o'well! Hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend! 

FEELING PURPLE

 Every time I wear this jacket I feel really cool which is something that I'm definitely not. Thanks to the weather being a little bit chilly in the morning I got to wear it for the first time in months, even if it was only for a few hours. I want to know what's that piece of clothing that makes you guys feel a bit cooler?

WHITE ON WHITE

I have been really loving the "white on white" trend this year, white has always been my favorite color so it's like double the fun! I paired this look with my Zara bag because I never feel complete without a little bit of color. I'm also in love with those heels!!  Hope you guys had a good weekend!

SO ORANGE

Today I apparently woke up feeling like I needed to wear something sparky around my neck. It's not like I was doing anything fancy today, just a bit of shopping. I usually always dress according to my mood, so if I feel like wearing my pajamas all day, then I'll wear them (only around the house though). I also threw on this orange blouse to remind me that fall is just around the corner. I can't wait for this blistering heat to end! Do you guys feel the same way or do you enjoy summer days more?
